Artwork Series

(Our) Bathrooms

“(Our) Bathrooms” is an ongoing series that captures intimate moments shared with my partner, scenes that unfold in one of the most private spaces of our daily lives. Bathrooms are usually just functional, but here, they become places of routine, comfort, and change. Behind closed doors, we’re most ourselves: half-asleep, lost in thought while showering, brushing teeth, or simply existing.

My Sister

“My Sister” is a very personal series. I created it to honor the bond I share with my sister. Growing up together, I often took ordinary moments with her for granted. It wasn’t until we started living far away from each other that I realized how much those small moments meant. These paintings freeze those memories we so frequently overlook.

Italian Caffè

“Italian Caffé” is a painting rooted in memory and personal significance. It was created as a gift for my grandparents, who finally visited me in Italy, for their 50th wedding anniversary.

Exhaustion and Relief

"Exhaustion (and what comes after)" is a series of paintings exploring the physical and emotional threshold between collapse and healing. The first two works capture different faces of fatigue: one detached and numb, the other overheated and strained. The final piece, "Relief", introduces a calm turning point. It doesn’t offer resolution, but rather a shift. The body doesn't have to brace anymore; a breath is finally exhaled.

Pieces

“Pieces” is a series I created between 2021 and 2023. It was a time when my relationship with my own body and food was very fragile. I found myself turning to painting as a way to process what I couldn’t yet put into words. Instead of focusing inward, I chose to paint the women around me. It felt easier to look at them than at myself. However, slowly, this act became a way of reconnecting with my own body and experience.

Body Life

"Body Life" is a 3-piece series which showcases the beauty of any body, no matter the size, by representing 3 different body types. This series was my way of working through the damages I’ve experienced over the years because of society’s beauty standards and specific individuals.

A Bit of Everything

Not every painting comes with a clear story or a deep reason behind it. This space is for works made out of impulse, curiosity, or the need to simply keep creating. Some pieces stand alone, some might become part of something bigger later, but all of them hold something real.
