Italian Caffè

“Italian Caffé” is a painting rooted in memory and personal significance. It was created as a gift for my grandparents, who finally visited me in Italy, for their 50th wedding anniversary.

Their visit was more than just a trip, it was a long-awaited moment when I could connect with them without my parents' presence and a chance to share my adult life. Having lost my other grandmother the previous year, their stay carried even more weight. The passing of time became undeniable, which made each shared moment feel even more important.

While the painting itself doesn’t capture a specific moment with them, it reflects the emotions of that time and stands as a reminder of that time.
